Nearby Barton-under-Needwood is a large village in Staffordshire, situated between Burton upon Trent and Lichfield. The village's focal point is a 15th Century Tudor Church, there are also several local shops along Main Street, including a Post Office, book shop, pharmacy, newsagent, hairdresser and Co-Op store.
Barton also has a large marina complex home to some 300 narrow boats and a number of shops and restaurant facilities, which has become a local tourist attraction. It is located on the Trent and Mersey Canal. A car is essential to fully explore this lovely area of Staffordshire.

Diamond Resorts Wychnor Park Country Club in Staffordshire is situated off the A38 running North East from Lichfield to Burton-upon-Trent. From the North; take Junction 25 off the M1 travelling South West through Derby. Alternatively take Junction 12 off the M6 travelling East through Cannock (initially on the A5). From the South; take the M42 Northbound and exit at Junction 9, past the famous Belfry Golf Club. Travel North along the A446 following the signs to Lichfield. Once on the A38, heading towards Burton, pass the sign to Alrewas. All Routes: - Shortly after passing Alrewas (you must be heading North East towards Burton upon Trent on the A38) you will see a small turning signed Wychnor. Take this turning (very sharp & over a bridge) and continue for approx.1½ miles, up the lane, and you will see Wychnor Park Country Club on your left.
