The surrounding countryside has so much to offer from spectacular sea views to wild rugged mountains, unspoiled, untouched and in peaceful surroundings. Waterfalls, woodlands, Celtic stone circles, pebble beaches, and lush green valleys are all to be found nearby, as are small colourful rural villages dotted along the coastline.
Kenmare, a heritage town, won the prestigious title 'Tidiest town in Ireland' award in 2000. It has award winning restaurants and charming quaint shops. Golf courses, seafari, cycling and pony trekking can all be found nearby. A car is essential to fully explore all this wonderful part of Kerry has to offer guests.
