Property Location: Magnificent views of the Kenmare Bay, McGillicuddy Reeks, Lehid Harbour and Caha Mountains. Nearby are beaches of shingle and pebbles which nestle under ragged cliff tops. Betty's Cottage is ideal for touring the Beara, Kerry, Dingle and Bantry Peninsulas.
Distance from town: A Post Office and shop is only a five minute walk away for the property. Pubs and restaurants are just a five to fifteen minute drive. Kenmare town, full of historical interest is 16km away and has a large supermarket, excellent award winning restaurants with charming, quaint little shops.
Area activities: The seashore is a five minute walk, with boat trips to the seals, hill walking, Direen Tropical Gardens, hiking, swimming, fishing, boating, sailing and kayak rental. Nearby Kenmare has golf, cycling, pony-trekking, stone circles and
lace making.

Directions from Kenmare town to the Cottage. Take the R571Castletownbere Road, and follow the signs for Westland Holiday Homes for approx. 16km. After 16km, on the right side of the road is The Lake House Pub & Restaurant, after passing this, drive for approx. 2km, keep a look out on the right side of the road for our sign - it is on a bend in the road. Drive down this road, past the Tuosist Post Office for approx. 2km. You will see a finger sign for Westland Betty's Cottage on the left of the road.
