Villa Meliha in Turkey is situated in a stunning rural location near the foot of a mountain range, surrounded by cotton fields and lemon, orange and pomegranate groves. The nearest neighbours are a farm, and two other villas, which are both a field away. It is only a short distance from the Itzuzu beach road and a twenty minute walk into the village, or a five minute cycle. There are small shops nearby for basic needs. The local taxis are very good and it is only a few minutes to the local supermarkets and the village itself.
Dalyan is nestled between mountains, next to a river, huge lake and right by the sea. There are numerous activities to be enjoyed in the area including trekking, jeep safaris, white water rafting, mountain biking, canyoning, sea kayaking, enduro motocross riding, paragliding, diving, horse riding, sea fishing, snorkelling, boat tours along the coast and across the lake. There is also shopping in local markets, Turkish massages or simply lying on the most fabulous beach in Turkey.
Villa Meliha in Dalyan, Turkey is a magnificent four bedroom, detached property to accommodate eight guests, in lovely landscaped gardens with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden room.
The four double bedrooms are situated downstairs, each with an ensuite shower room, the main bedroom also has a Jacuzzi and dressing room. Each room has doors opening out onto a large patio or balcony. There is a spacious (100m2) open plan living room/kitchen upstairs with balconies to the front and a large balcony with panoramic views at the back.
The exterior of the building is partially clad in the local stonework and has attractive wrought ironwork on the balconies. There is a fireplace for burning logs in the winter and each room has an air conditioner, which is also a heater. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and electric oven. This lovely Villa is a modern design with plenty of space and light, the floors are local marble, travertine and all the woodwork and much of the furniture is handmade by local craftsmen. There is disabled access to the downstairs of the property.
There are sofa beds upstairs and downstairs for extra children, the Villa can comfortably accommodate eight guests, with two double beds and four singles. Bedding and towels are supplied.
The lovely (1300m2) gardens have a 10 metre outdoor swimming pool with a paddling area and a Çardak, which is a Turkish style wooden garden house. Bicycles are available for outings to the nearby village.
