Area activities: Golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, shooting, horse riding, skirmish, beaches, Dublin, Avoca, Glendalough are just a few of the attractions to be enjoyed in this lovely part of Ireland. It is also in the best hill walking country on the east coast, close to historical sites, many cycling routes and the Blue Flag sandy beaches of Brittas Bay, 25 minutes away. A car is essential to fully appreciate all this magnificent area has to offer guests.

The two bedroom property, with an additional sofa bed, is able to accommodate up to six guests and has been awarded four stars by the Irish Tourist Board.

Outlook & views: Glenmalure Pines has superb views up and down a breathtaking, secluded and majestic blind valley, the largest glacial valley in Ireland or Great Britain.
Principle rooms: Large lounge/dining area with log fire, sofa bed, Sky TV, DVD Player and DVD library. Fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer and dishwasher. 2 ensuite bedrooms, one king size double room and one twin room. Bathroom. Linen, towels and electricity are all included.
Outside living areas: Sliding glass doors lead to a private deck with outdoor furniture and barbecue. There are also mountain bikes available for guests to use. The onsite Golf Clubhouse serves drinks and meals in the summer months.

To reach Twelve Glenmalure Pines in County Wicklow, from Dublin Airport follow signs to the M1, turn right at the roundabout above the M1 and take the M1 south towards Dublin. Stay in the left hand lane as you exit the M1 almost immediately. Take the first exit signposted M50. Turn right at the roundabout and join the M50. You now stay on the M50 right the way around Dublin. About half way round there is a toll which is €1.80.
The M50 joins the N11/M11. Follow N11/M11 to just outside Wicklow. The turn that you require off the N11 is the R752 which is signposted Wicklow and Rathnew. Go ahead at the roundabout as you leave the N11 and into Rathnew. At the roundabout in Rathnew (just after the petrol station) turn right, signposted Rathdrum.
Stay on this road through Glenealy and into Rathdrum. As you approach Rathdrum, you will see the church on the top of the hill. Turn right just before the Campus garage and up the hill to the church. At the T-junction at the top of the hill turn left and up the main street in Rathdrum. Immediately after the main square (car park), turn right up the hill. Keep up this hill until the road forks, take the left fork. Keep going until you pass the 80kmh signs and then turn right into an unmarked road. Keep on this road until it comes to a T-junction, it is a very narrow road so you will think you have gone the wrong way!
Turn left at the T-junction down the hill and the golf club is on your right. Go into the golf club and past the clubhouse, stay on the top road through the log cabins. You will pass a cabin on your left with little conifers around it, turn into the parking bay immediately after this. You will be at top of the steps leading down to no. 12 (it is the right hand set of steps). Further details available from the property owner upon confirmation of the booking.
