Area activities: The Cottage is situated opposite the historic Three Cocks Hotel, and is within walking distance of the popular refurbished Old Barn Pub, which provides excellent meals. The Black Mountain Activity Centre is half a mile away, where canoeing, abseiling and climbing can be enjoyed, there is also horse riding nearby. A car is essential to explore this lovely area of Powys.

Three Cocks Cottage is situated in the village of Three Cocks near Hay on Wye. From the south at Junction 24 on the M4 west take the A449 and then the A40 towards Abergavenny. Carry on the A40 towards Brecon. About two miles after passing through the town of Crickhowell, you will see a right hand turn by the Nantyffin Cider Mill Restaurant. This is the A479 to Talgarth and Bronllys. Follow the road to Talgarth and from Talgarth follow the road to Hay on Wye, to Three Cocks. As you enter the village you will see a garage on your right hand side, opposite there are two cottages. Three Cocks Cottage is no 2.
