The Shieling is a spacious, luxury Scandinavian style cottage set in the rural grounds of Eastfield Hall, near Warkworth, Northumberland. The property is in an excellent location with magnificent sea views towards Coquet Island and Warkworth Castle with Bamburgh beach and the Farne Islands close by. Picturesque Warkworth village with its restaurants, inns, small shops, river, beach and ancient castle are two miles away with boat trips to the RSPB reserve on Coquet Island from Amble, three miles away. Historic Alnwick with its spectacular garden and castle, recently made famous by their appearance in Harry Potter films, are five miles away. The bus to Alnwick passes the entrance to the grounds, however a car is essential to fully explore all this lovely part of Northumberland.
The Shieling in Northumberland is a spacious, bright, single storey, luxury, detached three bedroom property to accommodate up to six guests. The property has been awarded four Visit Britain stars, was newly built in 2004 and features a stunning floor to roof window and vaulted ceiling. It is finished to a superior standard with quality furnishings and fittings, with doors to an attractive conservatory and views towards the sea.

The Shieling is situated near Warkworth in Northumberland, from the A1, approximately five miles south of Alnwick, thirty miles north of Newcastle, take the road signposted Warkworth. Drive through the picturesque medieval village towards the new bridge over the River Coquet. Take the first left turn signposted Shillbottle. Follow the road for about one and a half miles until you approach a small group of buildings with stone gateposts on you left hand side. This is Eastfield Hall.
