The Old Rectory Apartments nestle in the beautiful heart of the Irish countryside within an hour from Dublin in Co Laois. Constructed in 1785, it has been the home of the Deverell family since the 1950's. The Courtyard now houses two luxury apartments filled with the unique charm and character of Georgian Ireland and offers a reasonably priced 'stress free break' away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
These charming apartments are part of a working farm, and are the ideal base from which to explore the beauty and peace of the Midlands. This is also the perfect base for touring, for day trips and to visit many parts of Ireland - Dublin, Kilkenny, Cashel, Birr and Kinnitty Castles, Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains, Killaloe and Lough Derg, The Cliffs of Moher or Galway City. The Loft at The Old Rectory Apartments in County Laois, Ireland is a luxury four star coach house, registered with the Irish Tourist Board. This two bedroom property is able to accommodate up to four guests.
Formerly used as a hay loft, its charm is reflected in the pine floors, ceiling and period features. On the ground floor there is a large sitting room and dining room, a separate fully fitted kitchen, a large double bedroom and bathroom. A spiral staircase leads up to the mezzanine loft, where you find an open plan twin bedroom. Full of charm yet with all modern amenities to help you enjoy your holiday in the centre of Ireland. A great place to chill out and unwind, yet with plenty of places to tempt you to visit.
The property also has a sun room with patio, garden and barbecue area. The walled-in garden is for guests use and there is car parking facilities in the courtyard.

To reach The Old Rectory Apartments in Ireland, take the N7/M7 going south, signposted Limerick. (NB If you are coming from Dun Laoghaire you join the M50 near Sandyford - BUT the sign says 'North'. This is correct - you then take the exit signposted for N7/M7 (Limerick))
Take EXIT 15 signposted Mountmellick/Portarlington. Follow signs around various roundabouts for Mountmellick/Emo and R422. In the village of Emo at The Gate House turn left, straight on to the 'T' Junction and turn left. The Old Rectory is on the left before the church (300m).
