Property Location: The Granary is tucked along the side of the rolling Orcop Hill. Half a mile from the village pub and main housing. The property is located in a peaceful, relaxing setting with wonderful views.
Distance from town: The Granary is only half a mile to the local pub, which specialises in food. There is a convenience store two miles away and a 24 hour Tesco and the M50 nine miles away.
Area activities: A sun bathed garden, safely fenced for children. Sun patio gives a perfect afternoon and evening location for enjoying the sun going down with a glass of wine. The property is within twenty minutes drive of Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and the M50 motorway. Also within easy reach are Hay-on-Wye, Monmouth, Symonds Yat, Malvern, Abergavenny, Cheltenham, Cardiff, Chepstow, The Brecon Beacons, Wales and Worcester with numerous places to visit including the castles of The Marches, Offa's Dyke path, Tintern Abbey, The Wye Valley, the Black and White villages, gardens to explore, antique shops and many more places of interest. A car is essential to fully explore all this lovely area of Herefordshire has to offer guests.
Style of property: The Granary at Orcop Hill near Hereford was converted in 2002 to a modern, two bedroom cottage to accommodate up to four guests. On site there are three self-catering Cottages, sympathetically restored with oak beams and antique style furniture. The properties have been awarded a Silver standard under the Green Tourism Scheme.
Furnishings & decorations: Simple furnishings and decorations. The Cottage is repainted each year.
Outlook & views: The property enjoys lovely views. From the lounge across the lawn, there are views over the surrounding fields.
Principle rooms: Lounge and fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Double bedroom downstairs with shower room. Upstairs large twin bedroom and bathroom with tub.
Outside living areas: The Cottage opens onto a gravel courtyard with parking. A path leads to the residents lawn, which extends around the side and rear of the Cottages.

To reach The Granary in Orcop Hill, near Hereford, on leaving Ross on Wye on the A49, after Harewood End, take the left signed Hay on Wye A4348. At the T junction turn left. Leave Wormelow, and take first right for Orcop. Drive up hill into Orcop Hill. Turn right next to phone box (before pub), take next left at T junction, travel 1/3 mile, in dip in road, turn left down drive. There is a small sign at the top of the drive. Go 200 yards down the drive, into gravel courtyard. Further details available from the property owner upon confirmation of the booking.
