Property Location: The Grainary at North Kingsfield Holiday Cottages are located in the village of Fraisthorpe, near Bridlington in East Yorkshire. Golf, fishing and pony trekking are all to be found nearby along with the beautiful sandy beaches of Fraisthorpe.
Distance from town: The nearby resort of Bridlington offers a bustling harbour, wide sandy beaches and promenade, and is sheltered by the magnificent chalky cliffs of Flamborough Head and Bempton, the latter a haven for sea-birds and home to the RSPB sanctuary. Excellent walking locally, both along cliff top paths and inland through the undulating countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. Historic houses in the area include Sewerby Hall and gardens, Sledmere and the Norman manor house at Burton Agnes Hall.
Area activities: North Kingsfield Holiday Cottages make an ideal base from which to explore the East Yorkshire Coast. There are numerous further attractions in the area including the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Flamingo Land Theme Park & Zoo and historic York. A car is essential to fully explore all this lovely area has to offer.

Principle rooms: The Grainary features a spacious open-plan living room, with electric 'wood burner', dining area and beautifully hand-crafted farmhouse style, fully equipped kitchen. The double bedroom has a five foot sleigh bed and ensuite bathroom/wc with shower attachment over a corner spa bath with whirlpool jet.
Outside living areas: Set around a large courtyard, each property has its own sitting-out area and shares use of five acre grounds, comprising woodland, a large duck pond, and a games barn with facilities for pool and table tennis. There is an enclosed garden with timber play equipment including swings, slide and monkey bars. There is also stabling and grazing available should you have a horse or pony you wish to bring along. Unfortunately pets are not accepted. We can now offer all guests totally free use of the local Palms Leisure Club, open daily 10am - 6pm (children allowed in 10am - 5pm). Facilities include gym, swimming pool and wet suite including jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

The Grainary at North Kingsfield Holiday Cottages at Fraisthorpe near Bridlington are located approx. three miles out of Bridlington, on the east coast of Yorkshire. On the A165 Bridlington to Hull road, there is a brown tourism sign saying 'North Kingsfield Holiday Cottages' indicating a turning coming up (on the right if coming from Bridlington, on the left if coming from Hull). Turn off the A165 and follow the road up to a farm. Bear right at this farm and follow the road down to North Kingsfield Holiday Cottages.
