The Garden Cottage in North Yorkshire is situated in a quiet location, within the grounds of the owners home. The Cottage overlooks open countryside, with its own garden and parking space. Situated 2.5 miles from York's City centre and within walking distance of the Park and Ride facility.
York is a vibrant, cosmopolitan and historic city with a wide variety of award winning attractions, in fact there is something for everyone come rain or shine. The Garden Cottage is a good base from which to tour this lovely area of North Yorkshire.
The Garden Cottage near York is a lovely recently renovated and well appointed individual Cottage, set privately in the grounds of the owners home. The Cottage offers first class, comfortable accommodation for a family of four.
Accommodation includes a lounge/dining area with a leather three piece suite, television, dvd/cd player and wood laminate flooring throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 double and 2 singles. Downstairs there is a shower room with basin and wc., upstairs there is a full bathroom and shaver point.
The property has a lovely patio with barbecue area, outdoor furniture and off road parking for two cars. The Cottage enjoys fabulous views over open countryside. Laundry facilities are available, with prior notice, at the owners house.

To reach The Garden Cottage at Grimston Bar, near York, from the north take the outer ring road A1237 signed to Scarborough. When the ring road becomes a dual carriageway, follow signs for Hull A1079. Do not head towards Scarborough. You are now on the A64. Leave the A64 at the Hull exit at the large roundabout and head towards York. In 250 yards turn right onto the other carriageway. When turning look slightly right. Meadowville is the house behind the brick wall and turned sideways to the main road. Knock on the house side door to get the key. The Garden Cottage is at the bottom of the drive.
From the west take the A64 to York. Continue until signs for A1079 (Hull). Leave the A64. At the traffic lights turn left to York, keep in the outside lane. In 250 yards turn right onto the other carriageway. When turning look slightly right. Meadowville is the house behind the brick wall and turned sideways to the main road.
