The Garden Annex is situated in the quiet, rural village of Boufflers in the Picardie region of France, less than an hour from Boulogne, with both Dieppe and Calais are just over an hour away, via excellent motorways. The superb Côte d’Opale is about thirty minutes away, with wide sandy beaches and fishing villages with fish stalls and fish restaurants all along the coast.
Boufflers is situated between the two market towns of Auxi-le-Château and Crécy-en-Ponthieu. To the north is the larger town of Hesdin, to the south is Abbeville. The beautiful city of Amiens, with its canals and cathedral, is less than an hour away. Paris can be visited easily in a day, as can Belgium.
Sporting activities, such as canoeing and horse riding, are available locally and there are several excellent golf courses nearby. In Spring, the beach at Berck hosts an annual kite-flying competition - and sand yachting is possible all year round. A car is essential at this property for full exploration of this lovely region of Picardie.

Accommodation: The entrance from the courtyard leads to a hall with staircase. Downstairs is a large living area equipped with Sky freeview television and dvd player. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is also a separate dining area. The bathroom with a bath, has a shower over. A second staircase leads to the double bedroom. Upstairs there is one king size bedroom and a connecting door to a twin room. Due to the two staircases, it is not necessary to use the interconnecting door.
The property has a small south facing garden, which has garden furniture, a bbq and ample parking. A cot and highchair is available by request.
