The Coach House at Old Waterslack Farm, Silverdale is located in a delightful woodland setting, within the grounds of the owners home on the outskirts of Silverdale village. Silverdale is midway between the historic city of Lancaster and Kendal, Gateway to the Lake District. The property is within walking distance of Silverdale, with its quaint village shops and public houses. Twelve miles to Lancaster, rich in maritime and Georgian history and having all amenities. Thirteen miles to Kendal, a pretty market town with plenty of shops, cafes/restaurants, bars and theatre.
An excellent base from which to explore this beautiful and secluded part of England. Many pleasant coastal and countryside walks nearby. Within walking distance is the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss, famous for its treasured collection of bitterns. The breathtaking beauty of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales can also be enjoyed just a short drive away. Blackpool is close by with its Tower and Pleasure Beach or the sedate charms of Morecambe can be enjoyed just half an hour away. Horse riding and golf are available within Silverdale. A car is essential to fully appreciate all this lovely area of Lancashire has to offer guests.
The Coach House at Silverdale in Lancashire is one of two delightful holiday cottages converted from farm buildings. The cottage is set on two levels, with the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs and the kitchen, dining room and living room upstairs. The two bedroom Coach House sleeps up to 4 people with one double bed, two single beds and a separate bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and washbasin. The property has central heating as well as a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, cutlery and all bed linen and towels provided, whilst a television with a family sky package and DVD player can be found in the living room. All bed linen, towels, tea-towels and cloths are provided. On site there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and pay phone facilities available. Cots and highchairs available on request. This lovely property has been awarded three stars by Visit Britain.

The Coach House is situated at Old Waterslack Farm, Silverdale near Carnforth in Lancashire. Leave the M6 at J35, join the A6 north and follow signs for Silverdale. In Silverdale follow signs for Waterslack Garden Centre. At Waterslack where the road forks, bear right and follow the road to the end.
