Property Location: The Barn is set in the beautiful rolling countryside of South Herefordshire, with far reaching views over the quiet valley of Orcop towards Garway Hill. In tranquil farmland away from the main roads, these renovated barn and farm buildings provide an ideal base for exploring areas of outstanding natural beauty including the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills.
Distance from town: Hereford 9 miles, Ross on Wye, Monmouth & Abergavenny all within 20 minutes. 24hr Tesco at Hereford, small supermarket & Post Office 2 miles away. Nearest pub & restaurant 2 miles.
Area activities: Local activities include: Bird Watching - including buzzards visible in the fields below the cottages. Cycling - there is a store you can keep bikes safe in. Walking - the parish has 21km of footpaths. Fishing, Climbing, Canoeing and Horse Riding. A car is essential to fully explore the area.

Outlook & views: The Cottages lie at the top of small ridge in hillside giving wonderful views down the valley. Guests garden gives the perfect spot to watch the sheep, whilst from the lounges you can see buzzards perch on the fence 20ft from your windows.
Principle rooms: The open plan living/dining area has double aspect windows, oak beams, electric fire, TV, Freeview and DVD. There is also a leather sofa/pull out bed and a single chair. The kitchenette is fully equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave and washer/drier. On the first floor is a lovely double bedroom, there is space for a cot or blow up child's bed in this large room. You can bring extra guests who can sleep on the sofa bed - there is a small charge for the extra linen. Bathroom.
Outside living areas: There is a quiet residents garden and patio area below the Cottages. In the garage block is a games room with pool table, table tennis, pinball small book and dvd library. There is also ample on site parking.

The Barn at Burnett Cottages is situated at Orcop Hill in Herefordshire. Take the M50 to Ross on Wye. Leaving Ross on Wye on the A49, after Harewood End, take the left signed Hay on Wye A4348. At the T junction turn left. Leave Wormelow, and take first right for Orcop. Drive up the hill into Orcop Hill. Turn right next to the phone box (before the pub), take the next left at the T junction, travel 1/3 of a mile, in dip in the road, turn left down the drive. There is a small sign at the top of the drive. Travel 100 yards down the drive, into the gravel courtyard. Further details available from the property owner upon confirmation of the booking.
