They enjoy an elevated position with stunning views over both the coast towards Bude Bay and in the distance to Trevose Head and also the north Cornish countryside to Bodmin.
The village of Kilkhampton is just over a mile away and boasts two excellent pubs serving food, two local shops, a butchers, post office and bakery. The well known surfing beaches at Sandymouth Bay and Summerlease Beach are both ten minutes drive away. A car is essential at this property to fully explore this lovely area of Cornwall.
Stables at Ivyleaf Barton Holiday Cottages near Bude is one of seven cottages occupying a stunning position overlooking the North Cornish coast and the surrounding countryside. This single storey, three bedroom property to accommodate up to seven guests has been awarded four stars by the English Tourist Board.
Accommodation: Spacious lounge/dining area. Fully equipped kitchen. Two double bedrooms and a double bedded room, with extra bed if required. Stables has wide access doors, making it ideal for guests wanting to be on a single level with easy parking close by, ideal for less mobile members of the family.
Stables has a private patio area, with BBQ, facing west towards the coast and the first tee. Guests at Ivyleaf Barton Cottages enjoy free use of a newly resurfaced, all weather, full size tennis court and a basket-ball hoop. Racquets and balls are available. There is a privately owned nine hole golf course and driving range where Ivyleaf guests enjoy a special weekly rate and have a private access gate. The par 33 course starts just in front of Stables. The Golf course owners have also opened a new mountain boarding slope, where boards and tuition are available.
