The nearest beach boasts a 70 metre high sand dune, ideal for children, with a new outdoor lido pool and cafe. The sandy beach of Sao Martinho Bay catches the sun into the evening and is five minutes away by car, or a flat twenty five minute walk along a boardwalk via the sand dunes. Nearby Obidos Lagoon has wonderful views and wildlife. A short journey north takes you to Nazare, a bright colourful town and beach worth a trip. There are also many more beaches to explore in the area.
Nearby activities include horse riding in Tornado, surfing and surf schools at Peniche, Obidos Lagoon, Baleal and Foz d'Arelho and hiking and walking in the forests and coastal paths behind the property.
The Silver Coast also has a number of world class golf courses, which are within thirty minutes drive. These include Praia d'el Rey, Bom Successo, Golden Eagle near Santarem and Campo Real near Torres Vedras. A car is recommended at this property to fully explore all this lovely Silver Coast area has to offer.
