The Area

Located in four acres of woodland and terraced landscaped gardens in a conservation area on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. Only 6 miles/10 km from Lake Windermere and less than two miles from the attractive town of Grange-Over-Sands. In Grange-Over-Sands can be found a long coastal promenade, well-maintained public gardens and playgrounds, a large new indoor swimming pool and leisure centre, golf courses, tennis courts, putting green, bowling green, library, post office, shops, hotels, restaurants and pubs. This is an excellent base for exploring the renowned beauty of the Lake District, Dales and Border country. The area offers a vast choice of visitor attractions, castles, stately homes, gardens, museums as well as picturesque villages, country pubs, restaurants, shopping centres and craft workshops. Activities such as walking, cycling, riding, swimming, fishing, golf, country fairs and sporting events are all available nearby.

The Property

Hazelwood Court is a fine, stone-built country house divided into several good quality private apartments. 'Sheraton' on the second floor is very light and spacious, with good sized rooms, quality furnishings, tasteful decorations and stunning country and coastal panoramic views.
The large living room has a high ceiling, period fire surround, a comfortable three-seater settee with two matching chairs, TV, coffee table etc. All the bedrooms have good quality beds and bedroom furnishings. There are three bedrooms; one double, one with twin beds and a vanitory wash basin/mirror/shower-socket, and one single bedroom. In the dining kitchen there are newly-fitted kitchen units in light oak and a good range of quality new appliances. There is also a large bathroom with basin, w.c, bath and overbath shower. All the rooms have fitted carpets. An elevated view terrace with seating, offers superb panoramic views over the golf-course, farmland, from the coastal estuary to the rolling wooded hills across Morcambe Bay and distant Pennine Mountains. A truly breathtaking outlook. Electricity and gas charges are by meter reading
