Property Location: Sapin near St. Die des Vosges, France is located in a small and peaceful hamlet, in the beautiful Vosges Mountains. Although there are no shops in Le Ville there is a grocery van that comes every lunchtime, selling fresh bread and local produce.
Distance from town: 5km from the town of St. Dié des Vosges, which has an excellent selection of restaurants and bars.
Area activities: A peaceful hamlet close to the beautiful Alsace, with picturesque villages and the vine route, the spectacular Vosges mountains for skiing and near to both the Swiss and German borders. This property makes an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area, a car being essential.
Style of property: Sapin in France is a charming, traditional, 200 year old Vosgienne farmhouse, which has been beautifully restored into two independent gites. This fully equipped, three bedroom property is able to accommodate six guests.
Furnishings & decorations: Tastefully decorated with tiled floors and shutters on all the windows.
Outlook & views: The property enjoys views of the surrounding countryside.
Principle rooms: Fully equipped open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area with woodburning stove, dishwasher, microwave, tv and dvd. One bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with bunk beds and one with two single beds, which can be joined. Bathroom with bath with shower over, toilet, basin and towel rail. Sapin has its own entrance, via the restored arched entrance of the grange, still with the original sandstone floor. It is reached by a flight of sturdy wooden stairs with handrail and has its own front door.
Outside living areas: On site there is a barbeque area with tables and chairs, a laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and outside drying area.

Sapin is situated near St. Die des Vosges, France. Exit the N59 at La Pecherie and follow signs for Le Villé. At Le Villé, turn right into Chemin des Vergers (there is a statue of the Virgin on the corner). Number 12 is 50 metres on the right.
