Sandend Cottage near Portsoy, Scotland is located in a small conservation fishing village, set in a horseshoe sandy bay with a small harbour with moorings, which is also suitable and safe for swimming, surfing, windsurfing, boating.
The Cottage is located two miles from Cullen and two miles from Portsoy, both charming small Moray coast sea towns, with shops, banks, bakeries, etc. All water sports are available nearby including dolphin boat trips, the dolphins can be seen in the bay from the Cottage. Golfing is available two miles away and there are many historic sites to visit in the vicinity. A car is essential to fully explore this lovely area of north east Scotland.
Sandend Cottage in Scotland, is a traditional fisherman's cottage, maintained to a very high standard, while keeping its original charm. Features include traditional wooden surrounds, doors and cast iron fireplace. The property has a new pine kitchen, bathroom, cloakroom and pine and cast iron spiral stairway. At the rear of the Cottage, steps lead up to the garden and sitting area, with views over the tops of the cottages to the Bay, a great place to relax in the sun. The Cottage is a sympathetic mix of traditional and modern, with sea pictures and articles on walls and surrounds, it is bright and very comfortable. There are sea views from the porch entrance with a pew seat. There is a wonderful view of the whole bay from the terrace with seat behind the property and cliff views from the front porch.
The Cottage has an open plan lounge/dining kitchen. The large modern pine kitchen is well equipped with fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Leading off the kitchen there is a utility area for coats, a washing machine and freezer. The bathroom is modern with electric shower with pine fittings and surrounds. The spiral stairway leads from the lounge to a small hallway with small toilet and wash basin, and is situated between the two bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms has a velux window and pine doors, one double bedroom and the other bedroom has twin beds, with pine chests and seashell limited edition prints on the walls.
