Ramblers Rest in Cumbria is a charming rural property, ideal for a family with three children and a baby, as it has a double bedroom with a cot (if required), and a bedroom with three single beds. A double sofa bed in the lounge can also accommodate another couple.
Accommodation includes: Lounge with television, VCR/DVD Player and a superb view up the valley. Fully equipped kitchen/diner with a pot belly stove and stone flagged floor. An upstairs double bedroom with a cot. A downstairs bedroom with three single beds, there is also a double sofa bed in the lounge. Downstairs there is a sauna and the bathroom. The bathroom has a corner bath and a separate power shower.
Rock House Estate has been awarded Silver in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
There is on site parking and a private, enclosed garden, ideal for dogs.

To reach Ramblers Rest in Cumbria, from Alston, take the A689 for 2.5 miles towards Nenthead. Just after the Nenthall Hotel turn left where there is a brown tourist sign to Rock House Estate. Follow the lane for about 1.5 miles. Valley View is a stone house on the right hand side. The owners will give you the key and show you to the Cottage.
