Village Apartment in Monda, Spain is ideally located in the heart of the typical Andalusion village just a fifteen minute easy drive from Marbella beach. The Apartment is within walking distance of excellent local facilities including banks, supermarkets, butchers and numerous bars and restaurants serving delicious local dishes. Walking, cycling, golf and horse riding can all be found close by. Monda is packed with history. You can walk through the old town with its narrow cobbled streets, small squares and fountains and get a feel for what it was like hundreds of years ago.
Inland from the fabulous coast of the Costa del Sol, Monda is a typical white Andalusian village with its own working olive and almond mills. The area is steeped in history and Monda is overlooked by its Castle, the original foundations of which are dated back to the Roman times, it is now a hotel and restaurant. The traditional Spanish life is still evident with working donkeys and goat herds passing through the village. The local fiestas feature many live music shows with flamenco dancing, open air concerts and dance bands. Most of the year the village enjoys a slow pace of life, making it a perfect place to unwind. There are various bars and restaurants serving the traditional tapas or a la carte meals. Also a couple of discos and late night bars for the more energetic visitors.
The area has many other activities including the Marbella Gun and Country Club, Quad biking, Joe Daisy Art School, horse riding, bird watching and mountain walks. The famous beach resort of Puerto Banus with its many beach bars, restaurants and shops is only a twenty minute drive.
This is a fabulous area to discover "the real Spain", lots of fantastic views and yet only a short distance to the beaches.

Nearby there is a local swimming pool and also a fantastic one owed by a local restaurant that lets you use the pool if you go in and buy a coffee!
