Property Location: Maison Lavande in France is located in the quiet hamlet of Rubunet Sauz, just minutes from the village of Pluzunet. The property is located between the major towns of Lannion and Guingamp, which are approximately fifteen minutes away. Pluzunet has a boulangerie/general store, restaurant and bar and only a ten minute drive is the town of Begard, with a large Intermarche supermarket, restaurants, shops and bars. The major towns of Lannion and Guingamp are also within a 15 minutes drive.

The ferry port of Roscoff and Brest Airport are less than one hours drive away, or if you prefer St Malo Port or Dinard Airport then the travelling time is approximately 1.5 hours.

Area activities: Whether you want sandy beaches, which are just twenty minutes away, country or coastal walks, to visit glorious chateaux with formal gardens or amble around picturesque market towns, Cotes D’Armor has it all. You can take numerous boat trips to explore islands, such as Isle of Brehat or the Sept Isles, which is great for wildlife enthusiasts. A delightful steam train journey is also available from Paimpol to Pontrieux. The departure points for all these trips are less than forty minutes drive from the property.

The area is also ideal if you fancy a spot of fishing, sailing, surfing, golfing, cycling or horse riding. There is a small theme park just ten minutes drive away, this boasts an Aqua Centre with swimming pool, giant slides, bowling, trampolines and mini-golf. The fabulous Oceanopolis Aquarium at Brest is also sure to please. A car is essential to fully appreciate all this lovely area of France has to offer.

Principle rooms: Maison Lavande Farmhouse has been lovingly restored and is clean, fresh and inviting. It has three bedrooms on the first floor and each of them have beautiful views overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside. There is a master bedroom with a Louis Philipe style sleigh bed, bedside cabinets and built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has three pine single beds with wardrobe and bedside cabinets. The third bedroom has twin beds and a built-in wardrobe and bedside cabinets. There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath, wc and wash hand basin on the first floor. On the ground floor there is another wc and wash hand basin.

There is a lovely country style kitchen, which is very well equipped and includes oven, hob, fridge and microwave, together with a dishwasher and washing machine in the adjacent utility room.

The lounge/diner leads off the kitchen and has exposed beams and a tiled floor. There is a large granite fireplace and wood burning stove in the corner of the room, which makes it cosy during the out of season months. It also benefits from satellite television (English/French) and a DVD/CD player. There are two sofas and a sofa bed in the corner of the room, which can be used for additional seating/sleeping as required.
The dining area has a large oak table that can seat up to eight people.

Outside living areas: Private garden and south facing patio with sun loungers, patio furniture and barbecue for dining al fresco. There is a play area with a wooden playhouse and swing set/slide together with a large field for football or cricket.
