Macdonald Lochanhully Woodland Club is a nature lover’s paradise set in a peaceful birch wood between the mighty Cairngorm Mountains and the temperate coast of the Moray Firth. It is a small, secluded Resort with its own trout lake (‘lochan’), and is situated close to the Osprey Centre at Loch Garten RSPB Reserve. Local attractions include Landmark Adventure Park, Strathspey Steam Railway & the Highland Wildlife Park & Folk Museum.
Also nearby is Loch Garten with its unique hide where you can watch the famous Osprey pair raise their young each spring. A little further away are the Cairngorm ski slopes, Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness and the sandy beaches at Nairn and Findhorn. In addition the Highland Whisky Trail starts almost on your doorstep. With forest trails, nature walks and the simple beauty of the surrounding countryside, Lochanhully provides a peaceful retreat. A car is essential to fully explore all this lovely area of north east Scotland has to offer guests.
The accommodation at Macdonald Lochanhully Woodland Club in Inverness-shire, Scotland are Scandinavian style pine chalets which offer you comfortable self catering accommodation. The Resort comprises 50 Scandinavian style chalets on a single level offering two bedrooms, bathroom, open plan living room, kitchen and glazed conservatory with dining room. WiFi is available throughout the Resort. The accommodation sleeps six with a double bedroom, twin bedroom (some have bunk beds), family bathroom, sitting room, kitchen and conservatory with dining area. Linen and towels are provided. Dogs are welcome at the Resort, maximum of two per unit. There is a charge of £25 per dog.
On site facilities include a fully heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and solarium. Outdoor facilities include tennis courts and trout fishing in season.

Macdonald Lochanhully Woodland Club in Inverness-shire, Scotland is located at Carrbridge. From Aviemore continue on the A95, after approximately 2.43 miles turn onto the B9153 signposted Carrbridge. At the T junction in Carrbridge turn right onto the A938, signposted Grantown. The Resort is approximately a quarter of a mile on the left hand side.
By Train: To Aviemore or Carrbridge, please note that there are no taxis or telephones at Carrbridge Station.
