Property Location: Set in the rural chateaux countryside of La Vienne, south of the Loire, and within easy reach of Futuroscope, Golfing and the multitude of local medieval towns and villages, with golf, horse riding, canoeing, bicycle riding, walking and wildlife observation locally available.
Distance from town: 6km from the local villages of Archigny and La Puy with restaurants, post office, bars and tennis/swimming lakes etc. 20 minutes drive to Chatellerault and the Medieval town of Chauvigny, as is the famous theme park of Futuroscope. Poitiers, Tours and Limoges airports are all within an hour or so drive. Area activities: With our private secluded gardens and heated salt water system swimming pool, shared with the adjacent cottage if booked separately you need not venture further than the tranquil gardens. If you wish to, you can enjoy cycling, country walks/riding historic chateaux, villages, churches, market places etc.
The 150 year old FARMHOUSE has been carefully restored to retain its French rustic ambience with terracotta flooring, oak beams, stone walls and fireplace. It comfortably sleeps six people (+ baby) in three first floor bedrooms. These comprise one king size and two twin bedrooms. Also, there are two bathrooms, day room and comfortable lounge leading on to large conservatory sunroom. The well-equipped dining kitchen contains a ceramic hob, fan-assisted oven, washer/dryer, fridge, freezer and microwave. Can be booked together with the adjacent cottage sleeping 6.

In the La Vienne area of France, South of the Loire, set in rural countryside near the medieval town of Chauvigny and 20 minutes from Futuroscope and Golfing at St Cyr and La roche Posay.
If you are driving, La Puye is pretty easy to get to from the northern French ports such as Calais/Boulogne, Caen, Cherbourg and St.Malo. It is approximately 20 miles east of Poitiers and a similar distance south of Châtellerault, on the D.2 road between Chauvigny and Angles.
