Le Puits in France is situated by a very quiet local road up a hill and remote from the bustling town of Riberac. The view from Le Puits is across the Dronne Valley to the picturesque village of Villetoureux. The property is located only three minutes drive or twenty minutes walk into town. Nearby attractions include Aubeterre 9 miles, Bergerac 32 miles, Cognac 56 miles and numerous castles along the beautiful Dordogne.
Le Puits (The Well) near Riberac in France is a 200 year old stone built farmhouse set in two acres of land. Exposed beams, stone walls and two built in wood burning stoves give plenty of character. Fully equipped and tastefully furnished throughout.
Accommodation includes lounge & large beamed dining room with solid French oak dining furniture. The spacious comfortable lounge has a built-in wood burning fire, English Satellite TV and DVD player, two comfortable settees, coffee table and bookcase. Two large windows look out over the Dronne Valley. There is a large, modern, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, cooker, fridge/freezer and built-in wood burning stove. The kitchen overlooks the dining area. A utility room attached to the main house provides a washing machine and tumble dryer.
An open plan staircase leads from the dining room to two attic style bedrooms with twin beds. Carpeted and fully furnished with pine furniture, mirrors and hanging rails. The upstairs bathroom is situated between the two twin bedrooms, with bath, washbasin and w.c. There is also a shower room with shower, wash basin and w.c. this is attached to the farmhouse downstairs.
On site is a patio area equipped with patio furniture and a vine covered pergola with views across the garden and valley. The outdoor swimming pool is reached via a short path. The pool measures 8m x 4m and is completely fenced for safety and security, to meet French regulations.
