Set peacefully on the banks of the River Mayenne, deep in the rolling Loire countryside, this charming working pottery is housed in a beautiful 19th century stone building.
The riverside location is two miles from the village of St Jean Sur Mayenne. On the doorstep you will find the recently restored towpath, ideal for bird watching, walking and cycling. Horse riding and boating can also be arranged.
The nearby town of Laval provides a lively setting for shopping and eating out, and boasts a sports centre and golf course.
The ancient towns of Vitre and St Suzanne are well worth visiting. Swimming lakes are within 50 minutes drive. Rennes, Le Mans with its motor museum, and the chateau town of Angers are an hour's drive.
The accommodation is an apartment, which is all on one level and comprises: Kitchen, Sitting Room, Bathroom, Separate Toilet. Single bedroom with en suite shower; Double bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet; Double bedroom with shower. £100 security deposit is required on confirmation of reservation - payable to owner. £50 per week for utilities.
