La Hantraye - Primevera in Normandy, France is situated within three miles of the lovely town of St Hilaire du Harcouet, and about 25 miles from Mont St Michel. There are beautiful towns, villages and beaches to explore and some wonderful restaurants in which to sample local produce. Ideal for family holidays and groups of friends or positioned so that two separate families can enjoy their own space and yet have full use of the grounds and facilities. A car is essential to fully explore this lovely region of Normandy.
La Hantraye - Primevera near St Hilaire du Harcouet in Normandy, France was actually an old village and the original buildings have been converted into two beautiful houses, which are set within five acres of gardens, orchards and grass land. Primevèra sleeps up to 7 guests and is ideal for those who struggle with stairs.
Accommodation includes a double room and a twin room on the ground floor and a beautiful triple room (with additional roll out beds) on the mezzanine, with a stair gate for safety. There is a ground floor shower room, two separate toilets and a washing machine. The open plan living area has a well equipped brand new kitchen with a dishwasher, a dining table and a comfortable sitting area with a television, (UK TV) and DVD player. The fireplace is a beautiful feature in this room. Books, jigsaws and games are also provided, please bring your favourite DVDs.
Both houses at La Hantraye have their own patio and garden area. There is garden furniture and plenty of room to play boules or other games. The pond is fenced off for safety, but we do ask parents to keep an eye on their children. The orchards are very well cared for and stocked. You will probably spend a lot of your holiday dashing out to see what fruit has ripened and please feel free to pick and sample whatever is in season. You can also use our lovely covered swimming pool. This has a polycarbonate telescopic roof on it for warmth, safety and security and is for the use of our guests in the houses and B&B. The pool will be open between 10-30am and 7pm in July and August and at other times throughout the year or whenever possible. Parents are fully responsible for their children’s safety. We do ask that people behave sensibly and reserve the right to stop use if behaviour is unpleasant, silly or dangerous to others, to the pool and/or its surroundings.
