Property Location: La Gourdonnie in France is located on the outskirts of the small village of Campagnac-les-Quercy. La Gourdonnie is a beautifully restored farmhouse, which is ideally situated in the Dordogne and Lot river valleys.
Distance from town: 5kms. from Cazals, which has Sunday markets, supermarkets, cafes, bars and restaurants. The bastide towns of Sarlat and Gourdon are within a 20km. radius and offer a wider variety of restaurants, bars etc.
Area activities: Canoeing, fishing and boat trips are available on the Dordogne (20 mins). A variety of castles and prehistoric sites can be accessed on one day trips. The immediate area also offers golf, horse riding, mountain biking and a host of other sports. A car is essential at this property to fully explore this lovely region of France.

Furnishings & decorations: La Gourdonnie has been used by the present owners as a second, rather than a holiday home for fifteen years, it is very comfortable throughout and is suitable for year round holidays.
Outlook & views: The property is situated in a quiet valley, near Campagnac-les-Quercy overlooking rolling farmland. Neighbours are a mix of local farmers and other second home owners.
Principle rooms: Living room with two 2-seater sofas, an enclosed wood burning fire, which acts as a heating system in the winter, an armchair, antique coffee table, bookcases and occasional tables. There is also a TV, DVD Player, radio cassette and a disc-man (with some CDs), with mini speakers in the room and a reasonable selection of holiday reading and guides in the bookcases. The dining/kitchen area has a table and six chairs, a large built French style cupboard, various built-in cupboards, a gas cooker (Butane bottle fuelled, spare in courtyard), for summer use, and an Aga type stove for winter cooking and heating, a microwave, fridge, freezer, clothes dryer. Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Bathroom with bath/shower unit. Second shower room on the first floor.
Outside living areas: The property has a lovely outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers. Adjoining the front of the house is a covered veranda and to the side a patio, which is ideal for outside dining. The garden surrounds the house on all sides and has a number of fruit and walnut trees.
