By the side of a stream in the middle of a lovely village in the northern English Lake District. Braithwaite has three pub/restaurants, and two shops. It is also two miles from Keswick, the capital of the northern Lakes. Braithwaite is a walker's paradise in the northern Lakes, and there are scores of walks straight from the door. Alternatively, you can just sit back and relax in the beautiful Lakeland countryside.
Highbridge Cottage forms part of a short terrace raised up above Coledale Beck, which flows gently past the forecourt. It is gas centrally heated, and also has an open fire, just right for those looking for a relaxing evening after a hard day's walk. A large and well equipped kitchen/dining room allows for convenient and convivial meals. Traditionally and comfortably furnished, completely re-furbished in 2000. Overlooking the village stream and common, with views of the surrounding Lakeland hills.
The cottage has: a living room with an open fire, colour TV, video recorder, CD player/radio and mobile phone; a large dining room/kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and drier, dishwasher and coffee maker; one double bedroom with king size bed and additional Z-bed; one twin bedroom with two beds;

The cottage has a small front garden overlooking the stream, and a secure back-yard adjoining adjacent gardens.,
