Property Location: Foelas in Wales is located in a small village on the edge of Snowdonia. Snowdonia National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a breathtaking heritage coastline and one of the most ancient and hauntingly beautiful regions in Europe. The famous Ffestiniog Railway runs just above the property, or you can walk into the nearby mountains or visit the beautiful coast, which is only a thirty minute drive away.
Distance from town: 4km to Blaeneau, where there are a variety of restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. The small village of Tan y Grisiau has a licensed restaurant near a lake, with the nearest pub 2km away.
Area activities: This property makes an ideal base, perfect for a walking and beach holiday. The lovely town of Harlech is close by, with a wealth of ancient castles and history in the area. A car is essential to fully appreciate all this lovely area of Wales has to offer.
