The ski area of Leogang is accessed by the Asitz gondola just over 1km away, the ski bus runs regularly. For beginners there is a ski school located in the village centre, with a nursery slope and beginners lift. Excellent ski schools offer group and private lessons for all abilities with English speaking instructors. Nearby is Zell am See for a lively night out, a bustling winter/summer resort with many water based sports around the lake, 2 beautiful golf courses, shops, bars and good restaurants. Kaprun Glacier offers year round skiing, and is available with a Ski Alpin Ski pass, covering Ski Circus and Europa Sport Region resorts of Zell/Kaprun.
