The Area

Dunlin in Northumberland overlooks one of Beadnell's beautiful beaches, just a five minute walk to the shops and pub/restaurants.

Beadnell is the centre of The Northumberland Heritage Coastline designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beadnell boasts one of the most beautiful stretch of beaches and sand dunes in Northumberland. On the south side of the harbour the dunes roll down to Dunstanburgh, north of the harbour up to Seahouses.

The worlds biggest Tree House within Alnwick Castle and Gardens is just twenty minutes away, the Farne Islands are just five minutes by land and twenty minutes by sea.

There is much to see and do in the area, including
wind surfing, kite surfing, sailing, canoeing, hill walking, golfing, diving and horse riding. Or, just take a leisurely stroll along miles of golden unspoilt beaches or visits to the numerous castles and medieval market towns. A car is essential to fully appreciate all this lovely area of Northumberland has to offer.

The Property

Dunlin in Beadnell, Northumberland is a recently refurbished, three bedroom property to accommodate up to six guests. There is an upstairs living room with colour tv, video, dvd player, cd hi-fi and breathtaking panoramic sea views out to the Farne Islands. Also on this floor there is a bedroom and bathroom.

The ground floor has two further bedrooms, shower room, kitchen and sun room/dining room with French doors leading into a large enclosed lawned back garden. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine and dryer in the garage, which is accessed from the sun room.

On site is a lovely garden area with garden furniture, bbq and off road parking.

Directions

To reach Dunlin in Beadnell, Northumberland, from the south, when you pass Alnwick you will come to a single lane stretch of the A1. Continue until you enter the next dual carriageway section (approx 7/8 miles). Approximately one mile along this section, turn right (Preston Tower & Ellingham). Go down this road for about two miles until you come to a small T junction and turn left. Continue along this road for three miles and across the rail crossing at Chathill. You will come to a sweeping left hand bend just before the sand dunes. Turn right on the bend into Harbour Road, No 26, Dunlin, is approximately 300 yards on the right.

From the north, approach the area south of Berwick on the A1 and take a left turning signposted Bamburgh. Drive past the castle in Bamburgh, signposted Seahouses. Drive through Seahouses turning left at the second roundabout. Leave Seahouses (golf course on left) and after one mile take the slip road on the left into Harbour Road. Approximately 300yds on the right you will come to No 26, Dunlin. Further details available from the property owner upon confirmation of the booking.
