Double Dux Cottage in Cumbria is a ground floor apartment that enjoys a good location in the attractive and historic market town of Cockermouth; situated just off the town centre with all amenities on the doorstep.
Cockermouth lies at the north western corner of the English Lake District, it dates from Norman times, and developed at the confluence of two rivers - the Derwent and Cocker. Much of the medieval street plan remains, and there are many features of historical interest.
The Cottage is ideally located on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, close to the coast, lakes and mountains, with an array of interesting shops, good quality restaurants, pubs and visitor attractions to be found nearby. The Cottage is an ideal base for golfers, walkers, cyclists and climbers.

The superbly fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, includes a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, washing machine/dryer, toaster, kettle and cooking utensils. The dining area, just off the kitchen, situated within the conservatory has a pine table and chairs. The double bedroom, furnished mainly in pine, has a wardrobe, bedside chest of drawers, a dressing shelf and mirror. The twin room, also furnished in pine, has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, a dressing shelf and mirror, and a walk in cupboard that contains the boiler. All bedding, pillows covers etc. are anti allergy.
Outside there is ample space to relax on the patio with patio furniture and parasol. Cars can park in the quiet street with the use of disc parking provided.
