Conceicao Apartment in Portugal is located on a small complex in Conceicao, a charming village with a small selection of restaurants and bars, a pharmacy, supermarket and bank. The nearby village of Cabanas, an old fishing village has a number of good small restaurants serving local specialities including fresh fish. If you wish to venture further afield the charming old town of Tavira is only ten minutes away and the Spanish border approximately a thirty minute drive from the property.
For golfers there are a number of excellent courses, all within five miles, including Quinta da Ria, Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei and Benamor, which is only a five minute walk away.
The Algarve is a holiday makers paradise with charming former fishing villages with narrow streets, whitewashed houses and ancient churches. The regions long sandy beaches are world famous and stretch 161km from Cape St. Vincent in the west to Vila Real de Santo Antonio on the border with Spain. Portugal's south coast, washed by the Atlantic Ocean, boasts natural bays, sandy beaches and strange rock formations. Combined with year-round sun and warm sea, the Algarve makes a great base for a holiday.
