The property is only ten minutes from a large supermarket and busy market village. Guests can also enjoy lovely walks by the rivers around the village, fishing and swimming in the lakes nearby.
The towns of Ruffec and Cognac are within easy reach and the beach at La Rochelle is 1hr 15mins.There are several golf courses all within an hours drive, Cognac being the nearest 45mins away. Jarnac is only thirty minutes away, a very attractive, historic town offering river trips, as well as scenic walks and there are many other villages nearby worth exploring. A car is essential to fully appreciate all this lovely area of France has to offer guests.
