There is direct access from the site to forest walks and cycle tracks and within 20 mins drive are the lovely seaside holiday villages of Kippford and Rockcliffe, and the sandy beach at Sandyhills.
Distance from town: Five miles from Dumfries town, which has excellent amenities including cinemas, ice rink, indoor swimming pool, shops and supermarkets. Lots of historic and cultural interest can be found nearby.
Area activities: This property makes an excellent touring base for south west Scotland and Robbie Burns country. The seaside is only a fifteen minute drive away. Boating, walking and horse riding are all available in the area. A car is essential at this property to fully explore this lovely area.
