The lovely village of Carvoeiro is 1.5 miles from the property. Carvoeiro is a pretty fishing village with its own beach, still retaining the character and tradition of Portuguese life. Carvoeiro has all the essentials for the perfect holiday.
The local market sells fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and locally caught fish. There is also a good butcher and a baker in the village. The nearby larger town of Portimao with its fishing harbour, numerous restaurants and many varied shops is only a ten minute drive from Carvoeiro. A car is essential to fully explore this lovely part of southern Portugal.
Casa Alba in Portugal is a charming semi detached, single storey, one bedroom Villa to accommodate up to four guests. The air conditioned property was built in 2002.
