Calum's Cottage, Kingussie, is extremely well situated for a wide range of activities, no matter what time of year you choose to visit.
You are within a thirty minute drive of the Cairngorm Mountains, home to the oldest and most popular skiing fields in Scotland as well as being the top destination for keen hill walkers.
For those who prefer more leisurely walks, a visit to Rothiemurchus Estate or the RSPB Reserve a few miles along the road at Insh Marshes comes highly recommended, or why not visit the water sports centres at Loch Insh and Loch Morlich.
There are many golf courses in the Badenoch and Strathspey area but Kingussie's 18-hole course boasts some of the best views of any course in the country, and being a short 5 minute walk from Calum's Cottage must come top of your list of places to visit.
