Portsoy lies on the north facing coast of Aberdeenshire, approximately midway between Cullen and Banff. Of all the many ports along the Aberdeenshire and Moray coasts, Portsoy was one of the earliest to be established, and as a result is one of the most fascinating.
Distance from town: Boyne Cottage is situated next to the town square and directly opposite the Boyne Hotel. The old Portsoy Harbour and the Portsoy Marble shop are less than two minutes walking distance from the cottage.
Area activities: The property makes an excellent touring base for visiting this part of Scotland including castles, whisky and coastal trails. Also within easy reach of the cottage are many beautiful golf courses. A car is essential at this property to fully explore this lovely part of north east Scotland.
