Property Location: This quaint, modern Cottage is located in a unique location, on the delightful Island of Aughinish, accessed by a causeway off north Co. Clare on the west coast of Ireland. The Island has beautiful views of the Burren to the South and Galway Bay to the North.
Distance from town: The Cottage is situated seven miles from the pretty harbour village of Kinvara, which offers many pubs and restaurants and lively traditional Irish music. Tracht Strand and the nearest pub is three miles away and Ballyvaughan is fifteen miles.
Area activities: The local villages offer shops, pubs, restaurants, boat hire, fishing and a scuba centre. The Cliffs of Moher, Aillwee Caves, and Ferry trips to the Aran Islands are available nearby. This is an ideal base to explore the delights of Clare and the West Coast, a car being essential.
