Apartment Joli 2 in Les Gets, France is quietly situated in a superb position, just above the village yet close to all activities and the bustling village. Three minutes ski or drive and you are in the heart of the village with its 100 shops and 25 bars and restaurants. It takes only ten minutes to walk to the village - a little longer coming back, as it is quite steep.
The south facing apartment is situated directly on the pistes. Ski down the gentle 'blue' run to the lifts and Ski School meeting place. Ski back to the apartment at the end of the day and watch the last skiers come down the mountain as the sun goes down over Mont Chery. The gentle slopes to the side and immediately in front of the apartment are ideal for gentle sledging and snowman making. After the lifts close the small open air skating rink in the village opens - great for children, and later floodlit ski-ing begins. You can arrange for skis, boots to be fitted in and delivered to the apartments. Lift passes can also be delivered to the apartment saving you valuable ski time. For more information please visit

By road it takes approx 8-10 hours on the motorways. 570 miles - autoroute tolls about £35 each way - these can be paid in cash or by credit card. On leaving the ferry follow autoroute(A26) signs to Reims, continue towards Troyes, then following the A5/A31 to Dijon and the A39(via Dole) to Bourge-en- Bresse. You then join the A40, the 'Autoroute Blanche' towards Chamonix. Leave the auto route at Cluses, follow Taninges and then Les Gets.
