The holiday apartments at Diamond Resorts Alpine Club in Austria overlook the charming town of Schladming. The Alpine Club is a superb place to visit at any time of the year. In the colder months, members have access to winter sports of every kind, while in spring and summer, when the lakes, valleys and meadows are ablaze with wildflowers, the countryside is a breathtaking place to explore. The nearby golf course is a must for any golfer. Also nearby you could try your hand at horse riding, canoeing, river rafting and in the winter months you can experience a sleigh ride.
Should you wish to immerse yourself in Austria's rich history and culture, then nearby Salzburg, birthplace of Mozart, offers a fascinating diversion.
This is a beautiful area that could possibly be one of the most picturesque ski resorts in the area. The Resort is situated on a hillside very close to the famous downhill course Planai and only 1km above the town of Schladming. The Dachstein-Tauern winter sports area offers not only skiing, but also tobogganing, ice skating, and curling. The area is also attractive during the summer, you can go walking, biking and rafting. Even skiing is possible during the summer at the Dachstein glacier, 3000m above sea level. Reception is open until 22:00 hours.

The holiday apartments at Diamond Resorts Alpine Club in Schladming, Austria have been built in traditional Alpine style with pine-furnished accommodations. The apartments include a fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, dishwasher in some units, fridge, kettle, microwave, microwave/oven combined in some units, toaster, telephone, safe, dvd player in some units and a hairdryer.
On site facilities include an Indoor Heated Swimming Pool, Laundry, Restaurant with bar, Sauna, Tennis, Children's Play Area, Grocery Store, Book Library, Concierge, Currency Exchange, DVD Library, Activities Dept, Games Room, Gardens, Solarium, Table Tennis, Tennis and Whirlpool.
Bathrobes for hire €8 per week, towels for use at the pool €4 per week. Tourist tax €1 per person, per day.
The resort offer a half board service priced either per week or on a daily basis. Bus stop 5 minutes walk with regular buses to Schladming.

To reach Diamond Resorts Alpine Club in Austria from Salzburg Airport, take the A10 motorway towards Graz/Villach. Leave the A10 at exit 63 (after 57) marked Radstadt/Altenmarkt/Graz, B320. Continue until Radstadt and turn right for Graz. After about 20km turn right for Schladming West. At the roundabout, turn right heading towards Rohrmoos. Alpine Club is 1km up the hill on the left hand side. The travel time should not take more than 60 minutes depending on traffic flow. In winter, winter tyres and possibly snow chains will be necessary. When driving on the motorway in Austria you must display a Vignette. These are provided with Austrian hire cars but are available from petrol stations.
Taxi fare (one way): €130 (up to 4 persons, for additional persons an extra charge of €10 -- per person is applicable) if booked via the Resort. Please contact the Resort for the taxi booking form. If not booked via the Resort €140 - €180.
