Aldea Del Mar in Torrevieja is a well known and desirable residential gated complex designed by renowned Mallorcan architect Pedro Alzoup. The buildings with attractively landscaped gardens, subtly lit at night, offer many original and traditional features.
Situated in a tranquil location, yet a 5 minute walk will bring you to Playa de Los Locos beach, a variety of restaurants, bars, shops and a bank.
The town centre is a leisurely 25 minute wallk along the sea front following the promenade or a 5 minute drive. The frequent A1 bus service can take you there in less than 10 minutes and equally to La Mata beach in the other direction.
The ancient sea port of Torrevieja has been the home of fishermen and salt merchants. The salt lakes nearby create a unique microclimate. There is a natural park by the lakes with tracks for walking , cycling and bird watching.
Other attractions include a marina, harbour and a lovely promenade with pavement cafes.
Many other amenities including supermarkets, restaurants and bars are within walking distance of the apartment. Ten minutes away by car is the Ozone Leisure Centre, which has a bowling alley, casino, amusement arcades, multi-screen cinema, restaurants, bars and a shopping centre.
The beautiful Costa Blanca lies on the eastern coast of Spain, boasting sophisticated towns to quaint villages, where the peace and tranquility is a feature. Its clear blue waters and miles of white sandy beaches are a major attraction. Beautiful mountains parallel to the sea on the north coast, here you can marvel at the Moorish villages where olive trees and hidden coves abound. To the south you will find the beaches with palm trees, sparkling, turquoise sea and rows of cafes and restaurants.

Accommodation: The apartment is modern with tradtional Moorish and Spanish features. It is located on the ground floor and is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished throughout. The apartment offers 2 good sized bedrooms - a double and a twin with fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers, 1 fully tiled bathroom (shower only) and a large open plan living area comprising kitchen, dining and lounge areas opening onto a large balcony overlooking well maintained and attractive courtyard gardens.
The American style kitchen is fully equipped. Adjoining is the dining area with a dining table and 4 chairs. Beyond is the lounge area with 2 large sofas and coffee table. Satellite TV, DVD and a small hifi system. The balcony is furnished with a table and 4 chairs.
The complex is divided into several sections with buildings grouped around large courtyards with attractive and well-maintained gardens. The largest garden area contains a large outdoor swimming pool, which is open from April until October (exact dates vary annually depending on factors such as weather). The pool is surrounded by lush grass, palm trees and shrubs and there are sun beds, showers, toilets and a poolside bar and restaurant. Please note there is a charge for use of the pool and its facilities.

Aldea Del Mar Apartment in Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca is a 40 minute drive from both Alicante and Murcia Airports. Transfers can be arranged for 40€ each way. Directions to the apartment will be sent to you two weeks before your date of departure by the property owner if required.
