The general area of Playa Flamenca is still undergoing development, but most of the development in the immediate vicinity of Al Andalus has been completed. There are two commercial areas within a few minutes walk and a number of others slightly farther afield. Walking to the top of the road (about 50 yards) and turning left there is a small commercial area (Las Mismomas) which is home to an Á La Carte restaurant (Lureños) and the excellent bar/restaurant that is Alfredos. A small Scandinavian supermarket is also on this site. Close by is a large public swimming pool with a cafeteria. Walking to the top of the road again, but this time turning right, you are directed to the larger La Florida Commercial area and the newly developed Al Andalus II Commercial site.
Set on the first floor, this modern apartment boasts three bedrooms, a bathroom with toliet, bath, shower and bidet and a fully equipped kitchen complete with washing machine. There is a combined lounge/diner with a dining table to seat 4 and easy chairs. There are 3 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 twin and a single room. Cable TV and a music system provide entertainment if ever the weather keeps you in and air conditioning/heating system will keep you comfortable whatever the weather. Externally the apartment has a balcony with a small table and chairs. In addition, there is a private sun terrace with a further table and chairs, sun loungers and an outside shower. There is also a built in barbecue so that you can make the most of the warm evenings and enjoy al-fresco dining. The apartment also has shared access to 2 swimming pools with shallow end suitable for children each set within gardens. The apartment is reached by an external staircase.
