Property Location: The property is ideally located at the edge of a working fishing village and the main departure point for visiting the Skellig Islands. There are wonderful views and walks locally and lovely seafood restaurants nearby.
Distance from town: The property is within strolling distance to the village, which has a restaurant, shops, pubs and regular Irish nights. It is 11km from the larger town of Caherciveen, with lots of shops and restaurants. There are locally organised walks in the area. A car is essential to fully explore this lovely area of County Kerry.
Area activities: A get away from it all holiday. Watch the trawlers bringing in their catch or go fishing yourself. Visit the world famous Skellig rocks. Enjoy top quality food and go on nature walks. Championship golf course approximately 15 km away in Waterville. Surfing schools can be found at Ballinskelligs and diving schools on Valentia Island. There is also a sailing school at Caherciveen Marina - all suitable for beginners. A car is essential at this property for full exploration of this lovely part of County Kerry.
