Club Calahonda

This is a small but nice resort in a group of five - and you can use facilities of any of the group. It has comfortable apartments, and nice gardens. It is well maintained - in fact both times we have been (early season) they have been doing major work such as the pools and not all facilities were available. The resort is a little hilly and could be a problem for those with walking difficulties - although the resort does provide a regular free bus service between each of the group resorts, the supermarket and the beach. Personally, I didn;t like this area of Calahonda very much - it is the 'wrong side' of the main busy road and away from the beach, and there are only a few bars and restaurants within easy reach, but Club Calahonda was a good place to stay if you want a fairly quiet week.
