Clowance Estate and Country Club

Clowance is situated in a beautiful spot and the grounds are very big with woodland, lake and golf course. It has all the leisure facilites you could wish for. The apartment we were in had two big balconies with spectacular views over the golf course and adjacent countryside.

The bar and restaurant have recently been refurbished and the food in "Your Bar" and "Between Coasts" was excellent. All drinks are half price on Tuesdays.

Marazion and St Michael's Mount are less than half an hour drive away. St Ives is about the same distance. We went on a day trip to the Scilly Isles on a ship from Penzance which was well worth the effort of getting up early. Dose up with sea sickness pills though as it is usually pretty choppy!
