Stayed here June 2007 - Wish we hadn't bothered. Absolute nightmare. Lodge furniture was tatty. Three piece suite all arms worn through to stuffing covered by loose pieces of material. Carpets stained. Terrace!! furniture filthy. Bedding was damp. Water heater took 24 hours to heat water. After checking in on the Saturday morning there were no staff on site until following Saturday. The worst nightmare was trying to take a shower. The thermostat had broken and only boiling hot water came out of the shower head. Thank goodness we did not have our grandchildren with us. There was a swimming pool and restuarant but guess what the impolite notice on the door told us that certain timeshare lodge users (including ours) were not allowed to use them. The electric was by card which could only be purchased by driving 20 minutes to the nearest large town. Thank God for the pub at Hartland Point. It saved our sanity.
