Alfaz Paradise

Unfortunately this resort didnt live up to its name! We were initially disappointed by the apartment size(a corner one) probably the smallest kitchen and bathroom ever.However it was clean and comfortable and patio views over the sea and mountains beyond compensated for this.It was very quiet, only a handful of people staying here despite it being half term. Car hire is a must as the hill site makes trips to the supermarket or restaurants impractical but the directions provided to get to the resort weren't detailed enough especially in the dark.
Alfaz playa itself is a typical spanish resort, a bit tired and lacking in character but thankfuly not the concrete jungle of nearby Benidorm. There are some interesting inland mountain villages like Guadalest to visit nearby.
