Villa Las Palmeras on the El Palmeral Complex in Lanzarote, is ideally situated, close enough to walk to the lovely beaches and also to enjoy the tourist area of Costa Teguise. Lanzarote is the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of the archipelago of the Canary Islands, with palm trees, miles of golden sandy beaches set in a moonscape landscape, picturesque villages, historic monuments, luxury developments, vineyards and volcanoes.
Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island and ideal for families. Here the architecture and landscape have been harmoniously integrated with the large hotels and apartment complexes, against the backdrop of the barren earth and sandy beaches. The onshore breeze takes the intense heat out of the sun and provides the perfect conditions for sailing, windsurfing and surfboarding.
The small secluded beach, El Ancla, is less than a ten minute walk from the villa and a gentle thirty minute walk along the Paseo Maritimo or Avenida del Mar, which is dotted with bars and tapas restaurants, will take you to the larger beaches and bustling resort of Costa Teguise. Here you can sample some of the many watersports on offer or dine in one of the numerous restaurants.
Villa Las Palmeras will offer a relaxing retreat for those who want to get away from it all, it is also be near enough to numerous sandy beaches, watersports, golf and the hustle and bustle of Costa Teguise.
Villa Las Palmeras in Lanzarote is a beautiful 3 bedroom villa, which was completed at the end of 2005, situated on the Avenida de Las Palmeras. This spacious home is very comfortably furnished in a modern Spanish style, which benefits from stunning views of the sea to the front and the mountains to the rear. The property is situated in a gated community with apartments, duplexes and a small number of elevated, link detached, frontline villas with Las Palmeras being the first on the right, facing the sea. At the front of the villa there is parking space for three cars, a raised landscaped area and through the gate, a small garden.
The front door opens into a large hall which leads to all of the rooms. The lounge, kitchen and master bedroom all open onto the large terrace, which overlooks Costa Teguise to the left, Arrecife to the right and the sea in front. The terrace benefits from all day sun. There are sunloungers and table and chairs for alfresco dining as well as a BBQ.
The lounge is bright and airy with large doors opening onto the terrace. It has two comfortable sofas, a dining table for six and large sideboard for storage. There is a TV and DVD player as well as a radio/CD player. The kitchen is beautifully finished and fully equipped with built-in oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan and washing machine. There is also a fridge freezer, kettle, microwave, sandwich maker and toaster as well as all crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen utensils. There is a separate utility room inside the kitchen with patio doors opening onto the terrace, where there is an outdoor covered 'solana' area which is used for drying washing and storage.
The master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom, has ample storage space in the large fitted wardrobes which are within a dressing area. The queen sized bed faces the patio doors which open onto the terrace, giving you a view of the sea and palm trees. The two twin bedrooms, one of which has large fitted wardrobes, are at the front of the house and overlook the raised garden area. There are shutters on these windows to allow the windows to be left open when the weather is at its hottest, at the same time, providing security.
The second, full sized bathroom, is between the two twin bedrooms. Both bathrooms have a sink, w.c., bath with shower and a bidet. There is also a further separate toilet and washbasin off the main hall.
The complex is beautifully landscaped with seated areas throughout. In the centre there is the main swimming pool and a children's pool. There is also a play area for smaller children, a full sized tennis court and one smaller court which is designed for the Spanish game, 'paddle'. Close to the main pool there is an open sided, covered area where residents currently sit when the sun is at its hottest. There are two smaller pools to the rear of the complex, in front of the apartments.
